Connecting to Quik Internet Using Windows NT 4.0

1> Go into My Computer and then into the Control Panel, and finally double-click on the Network
icon.

2> When the Network window is open, click on the Services tab. Make sure you have Remote
Access Service installed. If it is not there, click on Add and then highlight Remote Access Service
and click OK.

3> Be sure that the properties for the Remote Access Service configuration is set to 'Dial out only' and
that the Network... is set to 'TCP/IP'.

4> Back at the Network window, click on the Protocols tab. Highlight the TCP/IP Protocol and then
click on the Properties button. When the properties window appears, click on the DNS tab. For a
Hostname, enter your username. For a domain enter quik.com ... Next add a DNS Server
Search Order number of 205.162.86.17 ... Then click OK at the bottom, and then OK again for the
Network window. You should be back to your Control Panel window again, and the system will ask you
to reboot. Choose yes.

5> After your system has rebooted, go into My Computer and double-click on Dial-Up Networking.
You will want to create a new entry. The location you are dialing should be called Quik Internet,
you are Calling the Internet if it asks you. Choose a number to dial from the list that Quik Internet provided ..

6> After the entry has been completed, you should see it available on the Dial-Up Networking
window. Click on the More button, and select Edit entry and modem properties...

7> The Edit Phonebook Entry window should be open. Click on the Server tab, and make sure the
only selected Network Protocols are TCP/IP ... Uncheck IPX/SPX compatible and NetBEUI if they are
selected.

8> Next, Click on the Script tab and select Run this script and then select the Generic login script
from the list below. Click OK at the bottom, and you are now ready to dial in.

9> Click on the Dial button, you will be prompted for your username, enter it in lowercase letters... For your password, just enter it in as normal. The domain
should be set to quik.com and then you are ready to connect.
